Freedom Festival

28th August – 1st September 2024

We aim to harness Hull’s independent spirit and international outlook to become the UK’s leading cultural producing house for nurturing and presenting thought- provoking, playful, and powerful cultural experiences in public spaces and some indoor more traditional theatre spaces also.

Our vision is for public space to be where everyone gets to experience world class art and take part in memorable cultural experiences that transform place, build cultural community and very importantly carry stories that are relevant to the world we live in.

We want Hull to be recognised across the world as a centre for the creation of innovative art in public space, developed hand-in-hand with people from all walks of life.
